PhD Student Position: Security of Generative AI — Salary Grade TV-L 13
We are looking for a PhD student to join the research project AIGENCY. This project investigates the opportunities and risks of generative AI (such as ChatGPT) from the perspective of security. It explores the attack surface of generative AI models and develops novel attack and protection mechanisms.
PhD Student Position: Privacy of Machine Learning — Salary Grade TV-L 13
We are looking for a PhD student to join the AI Competence Center BIFOLD. The task is to explore the trustworthiness and privacy protection of AI models and systems. The goal is to develop novel methods for detecting security and privacy vulnerabilities as well as devise adequate countermeasures.
IT-Administrator — Salary Grade TV-L E 12
We are looking for a full-time employee in information and communication technology to oversee the IT infrastructure of the center BIFOLD. The position primarily entails designing, configuring, and managing network and computing services to facilitate the center's research activities.
Foreign Language Secretary — Salary Grade TV-L E 7
We are seeking a foreign language secretary (Fremdsprachensekretär:in) to work with our chair and the Chair of Big Data Engineering. The main responsibilities of this position include secretarial and administrative support of research and teaching, as well as handling general correspondence.
PhD Student Position: Adversarial Machine Learning — Salary Grade TV-L 13
The chair is looking for a PhD student to join the DFG project ALISON. The project investigates the security of machine learning in structured domains, such as in program code, file formats, or texts. It explores how attacks on learning algorithms can be constructed with this data and how suitable defenses can be developed.
PostDoc Position: Machine Learning and Offensive Security — Salary Grade TV-L 14
The chair is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the research projects MALFOY (ERC) and ALISON (DFG). Both projects investigate the connection between offensive security and machine learning. The position should create a bridge between both research topics and establish an own research profile.
